Montréal Victoire Acquire Abby Roque from the New York Sirens in Exchange for Kristin O'Neill, 28th Overall Pick
The Victoire and Sirens completed night's third deal, sending Abby Roque to Montréal in exchange for Kristin O'Neill and the 28th overall pick.

In the third draft-day trade of the evening, the Montréal Victoire acquired forward Abby Roque from the New York Sirens. In return, NY received Kristin O'Neill and the 28th overall pick in the 2025 draft.
Roque, originally from Sault-Ste. Marie, Michigan, was one of the three original signings made by the Sirens before the inaugural PWHL season. Across 54 games in NY, Roque scored 12 goals and 30 points, and was one of the top performers for the squad this past season.

Born in Oakville, Ontario, O'Neill struggled to find her footing in Montréal, generating just five goals and 14 points across 53 games in two seasons. Originally drafted seventh overall in the 2023 draft, O'Neill signed a three-year contract and was named an alternate captain for the Victoire in December of that year.
Both players are currently 27 yearsold, though Roque will turn 28 before the end of 2025. As previously said, the trade was the third of the night, following Ella Shelton being moved to Toronto, and Kristen Campbell being traded to Vancouver.
