A shorthanded snipe by Annie Pankowski was the game winning goal

The Wisconsin Badgers are the 2019 NCAA Champions, as they beat their WCHA rival the Minnesota Gophers, 2-0.

This is their fifth championship, tying them with Minnesota-Duluth for program wins. Their last NCAA title came in 2011 when they beat Boston University.
