The NHL's Washington Capitals announced a partnership with USA Ball Hockey's women's national team Monday morning, as per the team's official social media.

The partnership, on behalf of the Caps' ALL CAPS ALL HER platform, will have the NHL franchise serve as the primary sponsor for the USWNT's final evaluation camp, to take place Sept. 9-10 in Pittsburgh.

In addition, the Capitals will be holding a one-off clinic Sunday, Oct. 8, followed by a multi-week Sticks and Sneakers Learn to Play program (the first of its kind) for aspiring ball hockey players. More information can be found via the Caps' website.

ALL CAPS ALL HER is an initiative launched in late 2021 that aims to provide access to the sport for women and girls in the D.C. area. This partnership with USA Ball Hockey comes ahead of the Women's World Championships, to take place in Visp, Switzerland, in June 2024.
