The Ottawa Charge have finalized a multi-player trade with the Vancouver Goldeneyes, sending forwards Anna Meixner, Anna Shokhina and Mannon McMahon to Vancouver in exchange for forwards Michela Cava and Brooke McQuigge, along with defender Emma Greco.
Ottawa’s return
Cava is the most established offensive player in the deal. Through 13 games this season, she has recorded five points (1G, 4A). Last season with Minnesota, she scored 19 points (9G, 10A) in 30 games,. Her experience also includes significant production in Europe, where she was a consistent top scorer in the SDHL, and a playoff MVP performance with the Toronto Six during the PHF era.
