The Founding 4 Podcast: NWHL Road Trip!

Hello again friends, it’s time for another episode of your favorite NWHL podcast!

This week Erica and Mike breakdown a back-and-forth battle in Pittsburgh between the Connecticut Whale and the Buffalo Beauts. Both teams were missing star power as a result of the Team NWHL vs Team USA series taking place last weekend, but that didn’t stop them from putting on a show.

It was an unforgettable weekend in Florida and Erica would know, she was there in person for Game 2. We take a look at captain Michelle Picard’s Team NWHL and how they fared against the United States women’s national team. Unsurprisingly the women who will soon be competing for gold in Korea won both games, but the best players in the NWHL pushed them to be their best.

As if that wasn’t enough women’s hockey to talk about, we also preview the upcoming three-game NWHL weekend! A home-and-home between the Pride and undefeated Riveters? Let’s do this.
