There are certainly some notable names missing, particularly Kelli Stack, Haley Skarupa, Shiann Darkangelo, and Jessie Vetter.
The 23 players selected will remain in Tampa after selection camp for further training, per USA Hockey. Tampa is where the team will centralize this year prior to the Olympics, living, training, and playing games together leading up to the Olympic roster selection.
