Ahead of Wednesday's roster deadline, PWHL teams made several cuts across their respective training camp rosters. Finalized rosters can include a maximum of 23 active players.
Here's what each team has done as of writing, Wednesday afternoon:
Boston Fleet: Released forward Julia Nearis and defender Julia Shaunessy. Surprisingly, both players were cut before the team had even played a single preseason game.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Fleet announced additional cuts: forwards Chloé Aurard-Bushee and Kelly Babstock, along with defender Olivia Muhn and goaltender Kaitlyn Ross.
Aurard is the biggest surprise of the bunch, as she had previously signed a one-year contract with the Fleet over the summer and has two years of previous PWHL experience. She registered one assist in the preseason game she played.
Babstock and Muhn each appeared in one preseason game, while Ross did not see any action. The Fleet now have 26 players at camp (14 forwards, nine defenders and three goaltenders), so there are still a few more cuts to be made.
Minnesota Frost: Released forwards Alyssa Machado & Madison Mashuga and defender Cameron Sikich. Both of the forwards skated in the two preseason games, with Machado registering two shots on goal. Sikich played in the second preseason game. Currently have 25 players at camp (14 forwards, eight defenders and three goaltenders).
Montréal Victoire: Released forward Audrey-Anne Veillette and goaltender Tricia Deguire. Veillette played in both preseason games and finished as a minus-2 overall. Deguire started the Victoire's first game and allowed two goals on five shots faced in 33:57. Currently have 27 players at camp (16 forwards, eight defenders and three goaltenders).
New York Sirens: Released forwards Alexis Paddington and Kira Juodikis from training camp. Both played in New York's first preseason game; Paddington had four shots and both were a minus-1. Currently have 25 players at camp (13 forwards, nine defenders and three goaltenders).
Ottawa Charge: Released forwards Élizabeth Giguère and Alexandra Huszák, defenders Emma Bergesen, Vita Poniatovskaia and Jessica Adolfsson and goaltender Logan Angers.

There were definitely some surprises here, including several players who had signed contracts for the upcoming season. Both Giguère and Bergesen signed one-year deals with the Charge in mid-June. Giguère had a goal and four shots in two preseason games, while Bergesen skated in one game.
Adolfsson and Angers both signed one-year deals with the Charge in early July, and both played with the team last season. Adolfsson had one shot in the two preseason games, while Angers allowed three goals on 15 shots faced in 31:54.
The Charge now have 23 players at camp (13 forwards, seven defenders & three goaltenders). However, they could still make additional moves if they elect to pick up players who were released; if so, they'd have to make corresponding moves to get back down to the roster limit.
Seattle Torrent: Released forward Olivia Wallin and defender Lily Yovetich. Wallin had a goal, four shots and was a plus-2 in one preseason appearance. Yovetich played in both preseason games and registered one assist, two shots and two hits. The Torrent now have 26 players at camp (15 forwards, eight defenders & three goaltenders).
Toronto Sceptres: Released forward Kristin Della Rovere and goaltender Sarah Coe. Della Rovere appeared in one of Toronto's preseason games and had one hit and two faceoff wins. The team currently has 26 players at camp (15 forwards, eight defenders & three goaltenders).
Vancouver Goldeneyes: Released forwards Chanreet Bassi, Brianna Brooks & Taylor Lind; defenders Madison Clough, Karley Garcia & Kennesha Miswaggon, and goaltender Erica Fryer.

Chanreet Bassi, Brianna Brooks, Taylor Lind (forwards)
Madison Clough, Karley Garcia, Kennedy Miswaggon (defenders)
Erica Fryer (goaltender)
Of the forwards, Lind was the only one to hit the scoresheet in the preseason, with one assist. All of the released skaters played in both of the Goldeneyes' games. Fryer stopped all six shots faced in 20 minutes of action in the third period of the first preseason game. The team now has 25 players at camp (15 forwards, seven defenders & three goaltenders).
All players released are eligible to sign with other PWHL teams immediately.
