Northeastern University and Colgate University faced off in non-conference play this past weekend at Matthews Arena. Friday night, Colgate’s Jessie Eldridge struck first in the first period. Eleri MacKay scored Colgate’s second goal in the second period before Kasiday Anderson scored for Northeastern later in the frame. Malia Schneider put Colgate back up by two midway through the third. Northeastern threatened at the end of the game, with Veronika Pettey scoring the Huskies second goal. Colgate held on though for the 3-2 win.
