NCAA Bracketology: Dawn of the Final Day
We have one game left that will determine who is the top seed and who falls to second.

We will look at what can come from today’s final game, the WCHA championship at 2 p.m. center, and discuss what the committee might do with those results.
1 WCHA Winner (Ohio St or Minnesota) hosting 8. Minnesota-Duluth v 9. Harvard
2 WCHA Loser (Ohio St or Minnesota) hosting 7. Quinnipiac v. 10. Clarkson
3 Northeastern hosting 6. Wisconsin v. 11. Syracuse
4 Colgate v 5. Yale
Minnesota will host Ohio State for the right to become the top seed this year. Everyone else is locked into their seeding no matter who wins that game. KRACH favors Ohio State 54%-46% over Minnesota.
While they committee has taken away their flights mandate they now both are supposed to remove same conference matchups below the 5th seed and have said they will look to increase attendance. In order to achieve this it seems likely they will move 7th seeded Quinnipiac to Northeastern instead of Wisconsin to both avoid a rematch with Clarkson and to increase travel as much as that is possible.

The first bracket is straight integrity but it would not be a college hockey bracket, especially a women’s college hockey bracket, without some movement that will upset people.
