Introducing TIG’s NWHL Draft Show: The Draft Garden

What’s a draft without a draft show?

Last week, the NWHL announced the two-night 2020 Draft on April 28 and 29. Today, The Ice Garden is excited to introduce our two-night Draft Show!

Starting at 6:45 p.m. eastern and going throughout the NWHL Draft, Michelle, Eleni, and Leighann will host TIG’s Draft Show on our Twitch.

They’ll react, break down the picks as they come in, and answer viewer questions. There’s even a Draft Board to track the picks each round. You can submit questions in the Twitch chat or via Twitter using the hashtag #TheDraftGarden.

The NWHL will draft 30 players across the five rounds this year, a new high after the addition of the Toronto expansion team last week. The Connecticut Whale have the highest number of picks at six, the conclusion of a trade with the Metropolitan Riveters in a previous season. The Riveters have four picks, while the Boston Pride, Minnesota Whitecaps, Buffalo Beauts, and to-be-named Toronto team each have five.
