How to Watch: Oct. 26 - 27

A new opponent for the Whale while the Pride look to stay undefeated

NWHL

Sat., Oct. 26

Minnesota Whitecaps at Connecticut Whale - 3:30 p.m. eastern
Twitch

For the first time this season, the Whale are playing someone other than the Buffalo Beauts, as their first three games were against the team in blue. They had a tough go against them, losing all three games including one in overtime. The Whale are in search for their first win.

The Whitecaps are looking to bounce back after a rough weekend in Boston, dropping both games despite posting more than 60 shots on the weekend.

The weekend series will be a good test for the Whale, who have been getting more shots on net this season than ever. How they’ll be able to keep up with the speedy of the Whitecaps will be something to watch.

Metropolitan Riveters at Boston Pride - 6:30 p.m. eastern

The Pride come into this week 1 rematch undefeated while the Riveters come in off a bye weekend. Both teams look markedly different though.

The Pride added Emily Fluke and, with four home games under their belt, have had ample time to come together into a cohesive team. The Riveters add veteran defender Kiira Dosdall, which will help their defense who has left their goaltenders out to dry at times.
