For the fans, these endless array of possibilities is a gravitating force. For the players, despite whatever mistakes happen, everyone wins if the team wins.

Not having that team comradery for competitions was something Erica Rieder also enjoyed about hockey and was deeply missing when she was alone out there on the track.
