Four Inferno games to be broadcast on Sportsnet 960

The radio station will also host a Saturday morning segment on team

Inferno fans in Calgary have a new way to follow their team!

Today, Sportsnet 960 The Fan announced new programing around the Inferno. The only all-sports radio station in Calgary will broadcast live play-by-play of four games. It will be the first commercial station to do so.

In addition, their Hockey Talk show on Saturday mornings will also feature 30 minutes of Inferno-related content called “Inside the Inferno.” The segment will feature stories behind the western most CWHL team in North America.

“Calgary is a hockey city. This is another piece of our hockey puzzle. This is high level hockey — we are all excited to give the Inferno some more profile with our audience,” said Kelly Kirch, Program Director, in a press release.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for the Inferno to be covered by The Fan,” said general manager Kristen Hagg in the release. “As we work in the community to spread our following, this radio broadcast will give fans another chance to connect with and support the team.”
