TIG Reacts Survey Results: Show us the money

The fans have spoken, and it’s pretty clear: salary transparency should be the players’ right.

Eighty-six percent of women’s hockey fans agree that PHF players should be allowed to talk about and disclose their salaries to the public, pretty much the opposite of what they’re allowed currently. Anecdotally, a lot of the reasoning stems from allowing players greater potential for negotiation, as well as greater fan involvement along the lines of what we see in the NHL.

We’ll have more on this topic as it develops, both in terms of reporting (from Mike Murphy) and even a little bit of spicy opinion (from yours truly, as per usual). In the meantime, what do you think of these results? Sound off in the comments down below, and stay tuned.
