Are you passionate and knowledgeable about women’s hockey and have a voice you are ready to share with the hockey world? Well, the Ice Garden wants you on our team!
We’ve helped redefine what coverage of the game looks like and we want you to join our team and help take things to a new level this season.
We are looking for two new part-time writers to join our staff this hockey season. One will focus on the NCAA and one will cover the PWHPA but will be able to cover women’s hockey in general as well. Familiarity with the national teams will also be important as we’re gearing up for the Olympics. Both positions will be paid a small monthly stipend.
You will be responsible for a post a week, with some flexibility built in. These can range from writing about the latest news to interviews with players to recaps of games to feature stories and more.
NEW In addition, we are looking for a social media creator. This position will will cover a variety of leagues, but it is not necessary to be an expert in all of them.
You are not required to live in a city with a team but we do request that you have availability to watch the hockey you are covering.
