The SDHL announced their full 2020-2021 season schedule, planning to start games on Sept. 12.
The first day will feature all 10 teams, including a rematch of last season’s shortened finals between HV71 and Luleå. Each team will play a total of 36 regular season games. The regular season is slatted to run until Feb. 19, 2021. With World Championships typically in late March and early April, expect the playoffs to finish by early to mid March.
“We follow the authorities’ recommendations and we will closely follow developments during the summer. It is 2.5 months to start and our hope is that we can get started according to plan, said Agne Bengtsson, chairman of SDHL, in a translated version of the league’s press release.
