NBC to replay 2018 Olympics gold medal game on Sunday

Puck drop is at 1 p.m. eastern

Oops, we get to watch them do it again
They played with our hearts, Canada lost in the game
Oh baby, baby
Oops, I think I’m in love
JLam went around Szab’s glove
To win the gold medal

You see the problem is this
We’re not dreaming away
Realizing that heroes, they truly exist
We cry watching the replay

Okay, so obviously there’s more to the song, but honestly I’m not that good at rewriting lyrics and at this point everyone’s booing me off the stage anyway.

All of this is a weird, I’ve-really-only-had-in-person-interaction-with-one-other-person-for-two-weeks way to say that on Sunday, March 29 at 1 p.m. eastern, NBC will be replaying the historic 2018 Olympic gold medal game between the US and Canada in the US.

My TV listing starts the reply at 1 p.m. eastern and says it only goes until 3 p.m. But we all know that this game took like five hours (and most likely years off our lives), so I’m not sure if that’s quite right or what they’ll cut.

But we’ll find out tomorrow, I guess. What better way to spend a pandemic afternoon!
