NCAA Bracket released

We have a bracket!

Start booking your flights and hotels — the official bracket is here. Thankfully, this year the committee stuck with recent precedents and did not murder bracket integrity, as it did not save any flights. We will add dates and times to this article as they are announced, so keep checking back in.

The bracket is determined by the Pairwise formula, based primarily off the RPI with components for head-to-head and common opponents. The four conference champions get at-large bids, while the remaining spots go to the top eight teams in the PWR giving them at-large bids.

1 Wisconsin (WCHA) vs. 8 Syracuse (CHA) March 16, 2 pm CDT

2 Minnesota (At-Large) vs. 7 Princeton (At-Large) March 16, 4 pm CDT

3 Northeastern (Hockey East) vs. 6 Cornell (At-Large) March 16, 1 pm EDT

4 Clarkson (ECAC) vs. 5 Boston College (At-Large) March 16, 2 pm EDT

The higher seed will host their quarterfinal opponent the weekend of March 15 at campus sites. The semifinals and championship game are March 22 and 24, respectively, at Quinnipiac in Hamden, CT.
