U18 Worlds

U18 Worlds finishes up in Japan late Saturday, early Sunday on the east coast of North America.

Russia will play Finland at 11 p.m. eastern time for the bronze while the USA and Canada will face off for gold at 3 a.m. eastern.

The US is on the hunt for their 5th straight U18 gold medal.

The IIHF is streaming all the games on their YouTube as well as has the archives of the previous games.

Metropolitan Riveters at Buffalo Beauts at 1:30 p.m. eastern - Twitter Game of the Week

The Riveters and Beauts are both at a turning point in their seasons. Both teams are coming off statement wins in the midst of rough go’s. The Beauts Sarah Edney left the team after last week’s game to attend dental school in Australia, and Saturday morning the team announced Sarah Casorso will leave the team after this game.

Minnesota Whitecaps at Boston Pride at 7:30 p.m. eastern - YouTube

Last time these teams met, the Pride swept the Whitecaps in Minnesota. The Pride stumbled a bit last week, being shutout in Buffalo. Expect a fast, fun game.

The Pride announced a partnership with the NHL’s Bruins during the week.

Minnesota Whitecaps at Connecticut Whale at 3 p.m. eastern - YouTube

The Whitecaps are on a non-traditional back to back away series. The Whale — equipped with a new goalie and a team that’s come together as of late — could make this game interesting.

Les Canadiennes look to keep win streak going vs. Shenzhen - Eyes On The Prize
About one month after becoming the first Canadian team to sweep their games in China, Les Canadiennes will hope the Shenzhen KRS Vanke Rays won’t return the favour. Shenzhen are in town for the only time this season for two games this weekend.
