Boston Pride at Minnesota Whitecaps at 6:30 p.m. central - Twitter Game of the Week
The Pride take their turn heading west this weekend. They’ll face a well-rested Whitecaps team who has been off from NWHL play all of November (they’ve played a few exhibitions against NCAA teams). Boston split their home series with the Beauts in a solid showing that proved they’ve made strides after a difficult 2017-2018 campaign. This will be their second big test, against an undefeated Whitecaps team.
The Whitecaps have once again sold out the series and have partnered with a local brewery for a watch party. The State of Hockey is showing how it’s done!

Metropolitan Riveters at Connecticut Whale in Pittsburgh at 3:30 p.m. eastern - YouTube
Thanks to the NWHL’s strange scheduling this season, this is the third weekend in a row the Riveters and the Whale face each other, albeit this time in a neutral location. The league heads to Pittsburgh for the third straight season. The Rivs and the Whale have split the series thus far, at a game apiece. They’re also tied for goals on the series at 5. No word yet if Kimberly Sass will be back in net after backstopping last weekend’s win or if Katie Fitzgerald will return.

Worcester Blades at Les Canadiennes de Montreal at 6:30 p.m. eastern
The Blades have been off since their last meeting against Montreal, who fell to Calgary last weekend. It’ll be another easy weekend Les Canadiennes, even with Mélodie Daoust out for 6-9 weeks with an injury.
Markham Thunder at Calgary Inferno at 5 p.m. mountain - SportsNet 960 radio
Markham is up for a tough weekend against the first-place Calgary, especially since they are traveling west. Rookie Victoria Bach has quietly been having a strong season with a team-leading seven goals, tying her with four other players for the most goals in the league. The Inferno look to continue their nine-game winning stream.
