In this week’s episode we recap Week 6 of the NWHL and preview the last weekend of NWHL action before the holiday break. Adding a little bit of flavor to this week’s episode are the ambient sounds of the Metropolitan Riveters practice. Why? Because Erica recorded her end of the podcast while in Newark on Tuesday night. Talk about dedication.

The Pride have managed to pounce up the standings (see what I did there?) with their second straight win after a convincing performance against the Connecticut Whale. That top line of Emily Field, Jillian Dempsey and Dana Trivigno is beginning to look downright scary. In Episode 7 Mike and Erica dig into that story as well as the Beauts three game losing streak. Ouch.

We close out this week’s episode with an amazing Q & A with former Boston Pride defender Blake Bolden who is currently playing overseas in Switzerland with HC Lugano. Blake was kind enough to answer a bunch of listener questions that we received primarily through Twitter. Big stick taps to Bolden for being a part of this week’s show!
