Women's hockey Social Media Spooktacular

Check out how your favorite women's hockey players celebrated Halloween

Who doesn’t love some good Halloween social media #content? Here’s a round-up of some of our favorites.

The Whale got us started Saturday night with a costume contest. Whale player Anya Battaglino provided great commentary with the photos.

(Missed opportunity to get super punny with “beary hungy!")

McLevman made a return with a Halloween theme. Painting those pumpkins must be mighty hard in goalie gloves!

Markham Thunder player Kristen Richards mixes and matches for her costume. Don’t worry, Kristen, we’ve all been there before.

Some creativity in those pumpkins, in a Twitter contest by Les Canadiennes.

(Though Boston Blades goaltender Jetta Rackleff couldn’t help but chime in with her personal favorite!)

The Inferno went for the classic Halloween-ing of player's names, along with turning them in zombies.

Even at centralization, the US National Team seems to be having some Halloween fun.
