Four PWHPA showcases scheduled for 2023

The PWHPA will play games across Southern Ontario and the United States to continue the 2022-23 Dream Gap Tour.

The PWHPA has four showcase weekends currently scheduled for 2023, adding to the four played in 2022. Teams have each played nine games a piece, and the season will continue with these 16 games.

Scotiabank Showcase - Collingwood & Owen Sound

January 21st – 22nd

The PWHPA will kick off 2023 in Collingwood and Owen Sound; two Ontario towns on the south shore of Georgian Bay, about two hours north of Toronto.

The opening game will be played at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, home of the Owen Sound Attack, a men’s major-junior hockey team in the OHL. The Jan 21 game will be broadcast on Sportsnet as part of Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada, an annual hockey celebration that features a nearly 15-hour Sportsnet broadcast hosted by hockey personality Ron MacLean. Scotiabank and Adidas’ 11 am game will be part of that broadcast.

The other three games will be played at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena in Collingwood. Tickets are still available for all four games but are limited for the game in Own Sound.
