The 2021-22 Rivalry Series begins tonight

How to watch tonight’s game plus the schedule for the other eight games.

It’s time for the Rivalry Series!

This year, Canada and the US will face off nine times in their pre-Olympics exhibition series, far more than they have in past two iterations of the series. Each country has won the Rivalry Series once, with Canada winning in 2018-19 two games to one and the US taking 2019-20 handedly with four games to one.

How to Watch

  • Where: PPL Center in Allentown, Pa.
  • When: 7:30 p.m. eastern
  • How: NHL Network (USA) and TSN Sports (Canada)/

As of publication, rosters for the exact game aren’t out, but we do have the larger centralization roster for each.

Last Time Out

The last time these two teams met was Aug. 31, in the Gold Medal Game of the 2021 World Championships. Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but it went to overtime.

For the first time since 2012, Canada won gold at the tournament off the stick of Marie-Philip Poulin in a goal that only she knew was in, at least until they got the video review. You’ll never be able call a US Canada medal game boring!
