Game 1: Team Jenner beat Team Johnston; 4 - 3

Team Jenner: Nicole Kosta, Jenna McParland, Katelyn Rae, McParland (GWG)
Team Johnston: Bridgette Lacquette, Erika Kromm, Kaitlin Willoughby

Team Jenner scored two goals in the third period to win the first ever PWHPA game. McParland netted the game winner with 1:38 left in the game.

Game 2: Team Poulin beat Team Knox; 2 - 1

Team Poulin: Mélodie Daoust, Ann-Sophie Bettez
Team Knox: Caroline Prevost

Bettez scored the game winning goal in the final five minutes of the game.

Game 3: Team Johnston beat Team Knox in a shootout; 6 - 5

Team Johnston: Blayre Turnbull, Hanna Bunton, Rebecca Johnston, Turnbull, Turnbull // Rebecca Johnston (shootout)
Team Knox: Carolyne Prevost, Natalie Spooner, Brittany Howard, Loren Gabel, Prevost

Regulation saw 10 goals scored. Turnbull scored three of them, including the game-tying goal in the closing seconds of the game to earn a hat trick. The 3-on-3 overtime yielded no goals so the first shootout in PWHPA history went down early Sunday morning.

Rebecca Johnston was the lone goal scorer in the shootout, giving her team the win.

Game 4: Team Poulin beats Team Jenner; 5 - 1

Team Poulin: Mélodie Daoust, Laura Stacey, Stacey, M. Daoust, Emily Clark
Team Jenner: Katelyn Rae

Rae picks up her second goal of the weekend but Team Poulin emerges victorious on the back of a two-goal game from M. Daoust and Stacey.

PWHPA Exhibitions

Boston College beat PWHPA New England; 3 - 2

BC: Hannah Bilka, Hadley Hartmetz, Alexie Guay
PWHPA: Megan Myers (2)

An own goal by the PWHPA credited to BC’s Bilka turned out to be the difference maker in this game.

PWHPA beat San Jose Sharks Alumni; 3 - 2

PWHPA: Gigi Marvin (Coyne Schofield, Stecklien), Kendall Coyne Schofield (Stecklein, Marvin), Haley Skarupa*
Sharks Alumni: Scott Hannan, Mike Ricci

A mix of PWHPA players took on the Sharks Alumni during the NHL team’s Fan Fest weekend. Because the former NHL-ers didn’t have a goaltender, Noora Raty played in net for them as well.

*The stats sheet from the game reads Kelsey Koezler; however, a Sharks tweet of the goal shows its was clearly Skarupa who scored. The two were wearing the same number.

NWHL

University of Minnesota beat Minnesota Whitecaps; 5 - 1

Gophers: Grace Zumwinkle, Taylor Heise, Amy Potomak, Sydney Shearen, Heise
Whitecaps: Jonna Curtis

The Whitecaps had only a few practices under their belt before their tilt against the Gophers, who had many more.
