Redshirt Junior Katerina Mrázová provided secondary scoring and powered the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs to a 2-1 win over the Bemidji State Beavers tonight. The win is just the cherry on top of a weekend full of significance for the climbing Bulldogs. The team has been fitted with special jerseys for both games that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Essentia Health Foundation/Cancer Center.

Here’s a gorgeous shot from WCHA photographer Brent Cizek of #47 Jessica Healey hitting the ice:

Here’s the team’s official statement:

UMD will wear special pink jerseys both nights that will be available through silent auction through the second period of Saturday's contest. All proceeds from the jerseys will go to the Essentia Health Foundation/Cancer Center. Friday's game will get underway at 7:07 p.m. while Saturday's skate is slated to start at 4:07 p.m.
